Paul Bratanov Obituary

Paul L. Bratanov, 75, of Clinton, OH passed away March 27, 2021. He was born May 25, 1945 in Akron, OH to his parents, the late, Steven and Matilda Bratanov. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Cindy Bratanov. Survived by his children (Jennifer Peel and Jeff Bratanov), grandchildren (Andrew Peel and Emily Peel), and a large extended family. Paul was a retired salesman for Phillip Morris. He enjoyed the freedom of his job and was gifted in talking. In addition to the social aspect, he also knew every artist and song title from listening to the radio, since his entire career was spent traveling from store to store. Paul then went on to become the best grandpa ever and was known as "Peeps" to the grandchildren. Peeps provided driving services, lunches, board game playing, free advice and lots of love. Paul also carried with him friendships that lasted decades and enjoyed spending time with his friends camping, flea marketing, and whatever social activity set. Paul's extremely social nature and good humor allowed him to be a genuinely likable person with a kind heart. He will be missed greatly by his family, friends, pets, wildlife that he fed, and truly anyone that knew him at all.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday April 14, 2021 at 3pm, with calling hours immediately following the service until 6pm all at Parkside Church in Green (4520 S. Arlington Rd). Memorial donations are suggested to be made to Haven of Rest Ministries (175 East Market Street, Akron, OH 44308) or your local Humane Society.
