Obituary

JORETHA Stinnett at the age of 66, passed this life February 3, 2021. She fought a strong and fearless battle with Cancer. She inspired so many people along the way. In her last hours she was calm and at peace. She requested to be in the comfort of her own home when she passed, at that time, she was surrounded by the support and the everlasting love of her children and grandchildren.
JORETHA Stinnett was born January 12th 1955, in Jackson, Tennessee. She would go on to reside in Detroit, Michigan as a youth before moving on to Mansfield, Ohio then to Massillon, Ohio where she spent the remainder of her wonderful years on this earth. She was employed over a decade as a skills trade worker at General Motors in Mansfield, where she retired early. However, she was always ambitious, so she went back to college and became a State Tested Nursing Assistant. She worked in the medical field until her complete retirement. She always enjoyed caring for others, especially the elderly and children. In her spare time, she liked to watch her favorite shows on TV, "Law and Order & "Criminal Minds." She LOVED to play bingo, scratch lottery tickets and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Joretha Stinnett is survived by her Mother, Mary Francis Jones of Redford, Michigan; her three children, two Daughters: Bondrian Stinnett-Virden of Mansfield, Ohio and Kimberly Stinnett of Massillon, Ohio; Her Only Son, Jacquiz Lewis of Canton, Ohio; her grandchildren: N’Ayriah & Nakari Virden of Mansfield, Ohio, Kah'mariyon Jefferson of Massillon, Ohio, Kalliona, Aaliyah & Jaycee Lewis of Canton, Ohio, and One Great-grandson, Nakari Virden II, from Mansfield, Ohio; Sisters: Connie (Marcus) Amerson of Virginia Beach, Va., Carla Gill of Redford, Mi, Crise Jefferson-Davis of Canton, Ohio; Three brothers: Fred Blalark of Elgin, Il, Darryl Jones of Southfield, Mi., and Freddie B.
