William "Bill" L. Taylor, 69, of Perry Twp passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. He was born on June 26, 1951 in Canton, the son of the late William E. and Cora (McCort) Taylor, and was a life resident of Canton. Bill graduated from Oakwood High School in 1970. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Bill followed the golden rule thru out his life, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you". He was always honest, loyal and a very dedicated hard worker. His true love was his family as a Husband, Father, and Grandfather. No one could have asked for a better man. He was always the happiest when he was with his family. Bill loved the outdoors and all the four legged friends, boating, hunting, fishing trips at Lake Erie and the Smoky Mountains, Tractor Pulls and car races at Eldora and Wayne County Speedway. As long as he was with friends and family he was happy.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia "Pat" Taylor; sons Andrew "Andy" Taylor, and Brian (Myra) Taylor; granddaughter Lillian "Lilly" Grace; And Bill was anxiously awaiting the arrival of granddaughter Madelyn "Maddy" in April; aunts Helen Fach, and Jane Fach; a niece, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to Covid no services are planned.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital, PO Box 501 Memphis, TN 38105 and/or the donors charity of choice.
A private graveside service will be held at Warstler Cemetery.
