Preceded in death by his parents, Lorin and Ruth (Loudon) Wickersham, he is survived by his wife, Karen, three sons, Michael (Laura) of Akron, Eric (JoAnn) of Waynesburg and Jesse (Holly) of Massillon; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brother, Tom (Marina) Wickersham of Minerva; sisters, Chris (John) Imbrononi of Payson, Ariz., Cindie (Jason) Jacobs, Sandy (Dan) McLaughlin of Canton plus many nieces and nephews, and special friend Patricia Russ of Canton, and his beloved cat Harry.
Del was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians and of Nascar. He was a master of all trades and could repair anything that had a motor, wheels or nuts & bolts. There's not enough words to describe Del and what he meant to his family. Special thanks go out to the folks at Hanover House in Massillon for the great care given to Del during his time with them.
As per Del's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. A gathering to celebrate Del's life will be held at a later date.
