Margaret A. Tabellion, 89, of Canton and more recently of Canal Fulton passed away early Sunday morning on May 13, 2018 in Chapel Hill Community Nursing Home. She was born on September 26, 1928, in Bolivar, Ohio and was the daughter to the late Raymond and Mary (Slemmer) Lab. After graduating from Bolivar High School in 1946 she was employed with U.S. Ceramic Tile Company. Margaret married Dale Tabellion on April 18, 1953 and started her family. Margaret made her house a home for family and friends. Later she worked for the Canton Phillsmatheon Society in housekeeping. Margaret was a woman of great faith and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where she was a member of the Alter-Rosary Society and Quilter's Group.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 41 years, Dale Tabellion; son Larry Tabellion; brothers Paul Lab and William Lab; and sister Sarah Jennings.
Margaret is survived by her loving family, son Joseph (Connie) Tabellion; daughter Louise (Karl) Tallman; grandchildren Tim Tallman, Daniel (Tiffany) Tabellion and their children Tylor and Damen Wade, John (Amanda) Tabellion and their children Will, Grace and Kate; brother David (Donna) Lab; sisters Alice Oravetz, Isabelle Reicosky, Kathleen Crum, Clara Young and Louise (Mike) Osburn; sister-in-law Rita Tabellion; and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Chapel Hill Community for the wonderful care and love they gave Margaret in the past 5 years. Also Mercy Hospice for the compassion you showed toward Margaret.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Margaret's Honor to the Activity Department at Chapel Hill Community (1220 Strausser St NW., Canal Fulton, OH 44614).
Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the Reed Funeral Home (CANTON CHAPEL) 705 Raff Rd SW Canton.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 10:00AM at St. Joseph's Cathoilc Church (2427 Tuscarawas St W Canton).
Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
