Kirk J. Goodwin, age 45, of Uniontown danced and shouted his way into the kingdom of glory on Monday, August 6, 2012. He was born November 7, 1966 in Akron, Ohio. Kirk graduated from Springfield High School Class Valedictorian in 1985 and also graduated from the Ohio State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Computer Science. Kirk was an entrepreneur and was owner/operator of Navigator Coaching/ Technology and was founder of S.U.P.E.R Learning Center. Kirk loved his God and served him with every breath in his body as an active member of Faith Family Church for 14 years. He also was a member of many Chambers' of Commerce including Belden, Green, Jackson, Springfield, and also was a member of the John Maxwell Team, Toast Masters and BNI. He is preceded in death by his father, Winchel J. Goodwin and sister, Donna Cochran. Kirk was a loving husband, father, son and uncle and is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Casandra Lyn Goodwin; daughters, Ashley Goodwin (Jason Mayberry) and Alyssa Goodwin; mother, Vivian L (Goodwin) Phillips; sister, Linda (Timothy) Workman; brothers, Keith (Pam) Goodwin and Kevin (Caroline) Goodwin and was a loving uncle to several nieces and nephews and was known as a father figure to many others. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, August 12, 2012 from 3 to 6 pm in the Faith Family Church, 8200 Freedom Ave. NW North Canton, Ohio 44720 additional calling hours will be held on Monday, August 13, 2012 in the church from 12pm to 1pm with funeral services to follow at 1:00pm with Pastor Jack Pancher officiating. Burial will follow in the East Liberty Cemetery. The Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.
