Stuart Brand Ferbrache , 70, of North Canton, OH, passed away on April 5. Stu was born on October 12, 1943 in Coshocton, OH, son of Thomas and Katherine Ferbrache. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Zoology and a M.S. in Education. Stu was an avid Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeye fan.
Stu began his teaching career in Conotton Valley and then taught biology at Dover City Schools and retired as Vice Principal. He loved making biology fun and interesting for his students, and he will be remembered as a vice principal who was fair and caring.
Stu devoted many years of volunteer service to Golden Retrievers in Need (G.R.I.N.) Rescue and also drove hundreds of miles for Rescue Road Warriors. He enjoyed over ten years at our cottage in Liberty, Maine, fishing with his best buddies, Bud and Ken. Now all three are catching big bass in heaven, and I know he picked up Brady at The Rainbow Bridge. Stu was also a member of The Chapel in Akron.
Stu will be greatly missed by his loving wife of almost 22 years, Marilyn; daughter Cristin Schwanke (Pete); son, Michael (Nell); granddaughters Kate, Chloe, and Edie; and beloved brother, David (Linda). Forever in Stu's heart will be the love of our lives- golden retrievers, Callie and Brady.
Calling hours will be at Reed Funeral Home North Canton Chapel, 801 Pittsburg Ave. NW on Friday from 5-8pm. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday at in the funeral home. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery
