Mildred West Obituary

Mildred A. West, 94, passed away on October 30, 2020. She was born on September 3, 1926 the daughter of the late Alva and Lillie Shifflet. She was employed with Hoovers Manufacturing Co. for several years. Mildred was a woman of faith and was a member of Canton Baptist Temple. She enjoyed fishing at their lakeside house in New York. Her greatest love was being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband Leonard West; baby sons Leonard West Jr. and Jerry Lee West; siblings Aaron, Eleanore, Alva, Lillie, and Katie.

Mildred is survived by her loving family, daughters Judy Leidig, and Susan (Patrick) Finley; grandchildren Vicky, Michael, Brian, Shawn, and Leann; great-grandchildren Ethan, Tatum, and Mason; siblings Lucille, and Marion.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Sunset Hill Burial Park.
