Eileen Neading Keck, age 93, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010 in Manor Care Nursing Center. She was born in Kent on May 21, 1916 to the late William and Gertrude Kline. Eileen was employed as a teacher's aide with the Cerebral Palsy Association for 20 years and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Canton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Ernest Neading; her 2nd husband, Vernon Keck; seven brothers and sisters, and their spouses. Survivors include her two sons, Ernest (Kay) Neading of Dallas, TX and Joseph (Aimee) Neading of Plymouth, MA; two daughters, Rose Mary Hartenstein of Navarre, OH and Rebecca (James) Reed of Canton; stepson Gene (Peggy) Keck of Bolivar, OH; stepdaughters, Joan (Edmond) Aquino of East Rochester, OH, Judy Murdock of Minerva, OH, Karen Koller of Magnolia, OH and Janet Day of Mount Vernon, OH; her brother, Walter (Leona) Kline of California; 30 grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10am in St Joseph's Catholic Church of Canton, with Msgr. Frank Carfagna as Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Louis Catholic Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 6-8pm in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel.
