Edna Moeglin, age 93, of Canton, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2009. She was born on November 3, 1915, in Jackson County, North Carolina, to the late Thomas and Dorothea Green. Edna was employed as a Nurses Aide at Aultman Hospital for many years. She was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church. Edna enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, art and archery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moeglin in 1990; three brothers, Lloyd, Roy and Marion; and three sisters, Pearl, Lena Mae and Hattie. Edna is survived by her daughter, Dixie (Palmer) Young of Canton; six grandchildren, Debra (Howard) Lohmeyer, Jack (Denise) Mohr, Susan (Larry) Long, Kimberly (James) Conroy, Rebecca (Adam) Roberts and Michael (Michelle) Young; nine great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Julie, David, Maria, Jessica, Jacob, Annika, Robert and Rachel; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 1pm in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel with Pastor Randy Newcomer officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 from 6-8pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (225 N.
