Dorothy Lee Preston, 90, of Canton passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019. She was born April 14, 1928 in Laurel, Mississippi to the late James and Lille Bell Tolson.
Dorothy moved to Canton, Ohio in 1950 and married Frank Bo Nash in 1951. She was a teacher for the Canton City Schools for 28 years. She was a member and deaconess at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where she also served on many committees over the years.
Dorothy was also a member of the Canton City Schools bowling league for many years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Bo Nash (father of three sons), Henry Preston (spouse); sisters, Juanita McDaniel and Martha Jernell Barrino; grandson, Damon Nash.
Dorothy is survived by children, Frank Michael (Barb) Nash, Kevin Mitchell (Annie) Nash and David M. (Valarie) Nash; brother, Lawrence (Annie) Tolson; step-daughter, Judge Norma (John) Cannon; grandchildren, Frank Nash II, Maurice Nash, Maurice Nash, Karissa Billingsley, Tabitha Nash, Kevin Nash, Geno Nash, Tabitha Nash, Mitchell Phillmore, Gerri Hall and Victoria Nash; 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 700 Market Ave. S. Canton, Ohio 44702 from 12pm to 1pm with services to follow at 1pm with Pastor Charles Prince officiating. Private burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.
