Carl F. Scott age 85 of Canton, Ohio passed away Sunday morning in the Canterbury Villa of Alliance following a brief illness. Born at Empire, Ohio on June 1, 1916 he had lived the greater portion of his life in Canton. He was a veteran of World War Two serving in the U.S.Navy and was a retired employee of Union Metal Mfg. in Canton. He was a member of the Empire Methodist Church, a life long member of the Eagles Lodge aerie #2370 and a member of the Union Metal Retirees Golf League.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise B. Scott who passed away October 18, 1985 also by his parents, Clarence M. and Cora (Fisher) Scott and three sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Raymond Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Calling hours at the funeral home prior to services on Thursday from 10-11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
