Bobby Joe Maske, age 76, of Canton departed this life on February 25, 2011 at Aultman Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Malvern, OH on December 30, 1934 to the late, John and Florence (Dowdy) Maske. He attended Malvern Schools. He was a veteran of the US AirForce serving proudly during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie (Donar) Maske and his sisters, Hazel (Maske) Harris and Edna (Maske) Harris.
He is survived by his children, Timothy, Shaun and Shavonda Maske, Robin Pryor, Holly Williams and Bobby Jo Lenzy as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Crisp of Casper, WO, Joanne Jesse Steele of Massillon and Nelva Blair of Canton; brothers, Thomas Maske of Tuscon, AZ, Donald Elois Maske of Severn, MD, John Hundlean Maske and Charles Maske of Canton; special grand daughter, Ireshia Pryor; special niece Nicole Maske; very special cousins, Charles and Preston Massey; special long time friend, Carmine Duck; special friend, Tom Church of Akron and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 11am at Reed Funeral Home CANTON Chapel with Pastor Ray Cox officiating. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Wednesday from 10am to 11am at the funeral home. He will be buried with Military Honors at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
