Adam Miller, age 89, of Canton, died Saturday afternoon in Aultman Hospital. He was born on Sept. 20, 1915 in Akron, OH to the late Peter and Elizabeth (Schlarb) Miller. He was graduated in 1933 from Homerville, OH High School and served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed for 45 years as a sales representative for Hercules Engines, retiring in 1978. Mr. Miller was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Canton Lodge #60 F & AM, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, 32nd. Degree, Valley of Canton and the Hercules Retiree's Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Renilda (Vose) Miller in 2001, following 56 years of marriage, his brother, Peter Miller and sister, Katherine Hummell. Mr. Miller is survived by his his son and daughter-in-law, Gary A. and Linda Miller of Massilon; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and sister, Betty Adamson of Homerville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m Tuesday in the Reed Funeral Home, Canton Chapel, with Pastor Kenneth Scheck officiating. Entombment will be at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to the time of service.
