Obituary

Anthea "Tootie" Micklavzina, passed away, unexpectedly on Monday, December 18, 2017 at her home. She was born in Phoenix City, Alabama on September 25, 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Catherine Bell; brother Stephen; nephew, Glenn Kearney and her furry kids, Junkie, Bear, Kasey and Busch.
She is survived by her husband, John, whom she married on St. Patrick's Day 1979. She is also survived by her sister Kathryn (William) Kearney of Gahanna, OH; her sister-in-law, Monika of Alabama; brother-in-law, Stanley (Diane) of Eugene, Oregon; sister-in-law, Joann (john) of Bradenton, FL; many nieces, nephews and friends and her fur kids, Sampson, Miss Kitty and Little Kitty.
She loved to cook stuffed grape leaves. She loved to bake carrot cake and chocolate cake and she loved all animals.
There will be a memorial service for Tootie on January 21, 2018 at 1pm at the VFW Post #3747, 1935 Avalon Ave. NE. Food and refreshments will be served after the service.
The Reed Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
