Jacqueline J. (Valentine) Manos, 83, of Meadow Wind Care Center, Massillon, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Aultman Hospital. She was Born December 29, 1933 in Canton, Ohio to the late Harry E. and Vada R. (Tolley) Valentine.
She attended Lincoln High School and graduated from Lehman High School in 1951. She retired from Sugardale Foods after 31 years of service.
Her extended family and friends will miss her warm smile and loving disposition. A wide audience enjoyed her soup, stew, and snack plate productions.
Jackie had a keen mind for word games and a keen ear for blue-eyed soul. Her singing voice was a highlight of frequent jam sessions in the Valentine Rec-Room.
A lifetime fan of Ohio State sports, even the Browns, is evidence of her unconditional love.
Survivors include her ex-husband, Richard Manos of Canton; brother, Larry Valentine of New Jersey; daughters, Debbie (Mike) Dyer and Rebecca (Mike) Hill of Perry; sons, Sam Smitley of Perry and Scott Smitley of Raleigh, North Caroline; grandchildren, Natalie Dyer, Emily (Marc) Doster, Andrew, Aaron, Amanda, and Ashley Smitley, Vanessa (Joe) Moscariello and Valerie (Florin) Rasinar; nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel, 705 Raff Rd SW Canton, Ohio 44710 from 3pm to 5pm with services to follow at 5pm with Gary Smith Funeral Celebrant officiating. Inurnment will follow at a, later date, in West Lawn Cemetery.
