Alan G. Krigline, age 80, of North Canton, died April 17, 2017 at home after a gallant battle with Parkinson's Disease. Originally from Columbus, attended high school in Miami, Florida, and graduated from the University of Florida-BSIE. Served in the Army Corps of Engineers and retired as a Colonel in the Reserves. Alan earned his Masters and PhD degrees from Georgia State University. Retired from the University of Akron where he was a full professor of Management and International Business. Alan was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church in North Canton. He loved to travel with his work and family. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elise; two sons, Kevin (Fran) and Michael (Vivian); and daughter, Kathy (Ed) Grudier; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A private family memorial service will be held to celebrate his life. The family would like to thank Aultman Hospice and Palliative Care staff for their loving care and support.
